1. Who we are

This website is operated by Dalian Dahui Machine Tool Co., Ltd. (brand: DAHUIMT, “we”, “us”, “our”). We manufacture and export CNC lathes, machining centres, gear machines and boring equipment for industrial customers.

2. What we collect

We collect personal information only in the following situations:

• When you contact us. If you send an enquiry through a form on this site or by email, we receive the name, email address, phone or WhatsApp number, company details and message content you provide.
• When you visit the site (analytics). We use Google Analytics 4 to understand how the site is used: pages viewed, device and browser type, the site you arrived from, your approximate region, and certain interactions recorded as anonymous usage events (for example, that a contact form was submitted — the event itself carries no name or email address). Google Analytics does not store full IP addresses; Google truncates them.
• Server records. Like any web server, ours records technical information about requests to the site: IP address, browser type, the pages requested and the time of the request. These records are used to keep the site available and secure, and to block abusive traffic.

We do not ask for, and do not want to receive, payment card details, government identification numbers or special categories of personal data through this website. We do not process payments on this site.

3. Why we use it

• To answer your enquiry and prepare a quotation or technical response.
• To carry out and administer any order or contract that follows.
• To keep the website working, secure and free of abuse.
• To measure aggregate site usage so we can improve it.
• To send updates, only where you have asked us to and only until you tell us to stop.

4. Our legal bases

Where the EU or UK General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR / UK GDPR) applies to you as a visitor, we rely on:

• Contract and pre-contractual steps — answering enquiries and preparing quotations and orders.
• Legitimate interest — running a secure website, blocking abuse, and measuring aggregate usage through Google Analytics. The analytics data is statistical, does not build a personal profile, and you can opt out at any time (see our Cookie Policy). Opting out does not affect anything else about your visit.
• Consent — only if you ask us to send you updates; you may withdraw that consent at any time by replying to the same address.

5. Sharing

We do not sell personal information. We share it only with:

• Service providers who help us operate the business — website hosting, content delivery and email — and only to the extent needed for those services.
• Google, for the operation of Google Analytics, under Google’s terms. Google’s handling of Analytics data is described in Google’s own documentation.
• Authorities, where we are required to do so by law.

6. How long we keep it

• Enquiry correspondence is kept for as long as it is needed to deal with the enquiry and any business relationship that follows.
• Server records are kept for a short period and then deleted or overwritten.
• Analytics cookies last up to two years (see the Cookie Policy); the underlying usage data is kept under Google’s standard Analytics retention settings.
• If you asked us to send updates, your details are kept until you ask us to stop.

7. International transfers

We are based in the People’s Republic of China. If you contact us from another country, your enquiry information is transferred to and processed in China. Google Analytics data may be processed by Google in the United States and other countries. We take reasonable steps to protect information in transit and at rest.

8. Your rights

Subject to applicable law, you may ask us to:

• confirm what personal information we hold about you;
• correct it;
• delete it;
• restrict or object to its processing (including processing based on legitimate interest);
• provide it to you in a structured, commonly used format;
• stop using it for direct messages, at any time.

9. Cookies

This site uses Google Analytics cookies and functional cookies for logged-in site staff. It does not use advertising cookies, and it does not use third-party tracking for social media or remarketing. What each cookie does, how long it lasts and how to opt out are set out in our Cookie Policy.
